1. The helitaxi – first such service in Bangaluru.
A. When Bengaluru’s first helitaxi service took off, app-based taxi service took on a whole new meaning.

2. Over cyberspace threat of new malware looms.
A. A new malware called Saposhi detected by cyber security agencies after Mirai and Reaper.

C. It can be then used for any purpose, including a Distributed Denial Of Service attack which, with enough firepower, can cripple entire industries.
D. “Saposhi is similar in its intensity to Reaper, which was taking over millions of devices at the rate of 10,000 devices per day.
3. By Tourism Ministry under Swadesh Darshan Scheme over Rs. 5600 crore sanctioned.
A. Since 2014-15 till date under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme of Ministry of Tourism, a total amount of Rs. 5638.87 crore was sanctioned with release of Rs. 2148.17.
B. Thirteen thematic circuits have been identified, under the Swadesh Darshan scheme.
C. Aimed for development namely: North-East India Circuit, Buddhist Circuit, Himalayan Circuit, Coastal Circuit, Krishna Circuit, Desert Circuit, Tribal Circuit, Eco Circuit, Wildlife Circuit, Rural Circuit, Spiritual Circuit, Ramayana Circuit and Heritage Circuit.
4. 2 cr on IOB and 3 cr penalty on Axis Bank slapped by RBI.
A. Penalty on Axis Bank for violation of NPA classification norms.
B. Penalty on Indian Overseas Bank for not complying with the KYC regulations.
C. It said Axis Bank didn’t complianced with the directions issued by RBI on Income Recognition and Asset Classification (IRAC) norms.
D. The regulator said in a separate release that a “fraud was detected” in one of the branches of the Indian Overseas Bank.

7. Bhaker clinched a gold medal while Ravi Kumar bagged a bronze
A. In the ISSF World Cup in Guadalajara, Mexico, Young Manu Bhaker clinched a gold medal while Ravi Kumar bagged a bronze.

10. In Februrary 2018 services PMI contracts to 47.8.
A. In February 2018 the Nikkei India Services Business Activity Index contracted at 47.8 compared with 51.7 in January 2018.
B. A reading above 50 implies an expansion while one below 50 denotes a contraction.
C. The contraction shows that activity and new work in services sector declined for the first time since November 2017, with rates of contraction the fastest since August 2017.
11. As new chief of Scotland Yard’s Counter terrorism unit, appointed Neil Basu.
A. To be appointed as Counter terrorism Chief Senior Indian-origin Scotland Yard officer Neil Basu became first person of Asian heritage.
B. He will take charge as Scotland Yard’s National Lead for Counter Terrorism (CT) and Head of Met Police’s Specialist Operations.
C. He will replace Mark Rowley, Met assistant commissioner.
D. Mark Rowley has been in charge of counter terrorism unit since June 2014 and had resigned recently.
