1.   Two-term limit for Presidential rule scrapped by China.

A.    A limit on how long its leader can serve has abolished by China, it means president Xi could now rule the country indefinitely.
B.    In 1982, a system introduced by former leader Deng Xiaoping which overhauled by the ammendment.
C.    It was introduced with the aim of preventing a repeat of the bloody reign of Mao Zedong.
D.    Presidents had been limited to two consecutive terms, untill now.

 

2.  “Citizen Services” Mobile APP released by NCRB.
A.    Its 33rd Inception Day, on March 11, 2018 celebrated by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) and released “Citizen Services” Mobile APP.
B.    It is celebrated in their newly constructed Complex at Mahipalpur, New Delhi.
C.    In this app there is a bouquet of various essential police related services to the citizen.
D.    For various services such as Complaint Registration & Status Check, View FIR Detail etc this App can be used by citizen.

 

3.   Indo-French Knowledge Summit ends successfully.
A.    With a landmark agreement on mutual recognition of educational qualifications between the two countries the first ever Indo-French Knowledge Summit ended successfully.
B.    It made a record 15 other MoUs between universities and research institutions on joint initiatives and partnerships.
C.   The two-day summit was coincided with the state visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to India.
D.   It was held in New Delhi.
E.   The French Embassy in India was organized the summit and the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India co-hosted it.

 

4.   International Solar Alliance inaugurated by PM Modi and French President.
A.    The first International Solar Alliance (ISA) Summit on Sunday inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron.
B.    It is inaugurated at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre.
C.    The plenary session of the Summit was addressed by both Macron and PM Modi.
D.   61 have joined the alliance and 32 have ratified framework agreement among of the 121 countries which the ISA aims to cover said PM Modi.
E.   10 ministerial representatives of different countries besides the heads of 23 nations attended the Summit.

 

5.   In Rajdhani Express, a sanitary pad dispenser installed.
A.    For the first time in the country a sanitary pad dispensing machine was installed in a coach of Mumbai-New Delhi Rajdhani Express.
B.    It is installed On the occasion of International Women’s Day.
C.   On a trial basis it has been installed and the move would be extended to other trains as well.
D.   The women passengers too well received the decision.

 

6.   UP’s largest solar plant in Mirzapur will inaugurated by Macron.
A.    UP’s largest solar power plant, at Dadar Kala village in Mirzapur district, during his proposed visit on March 12 will inaugurated by French President Emmanuel Macron.
B.    The solar power plant at Dadar Kala village is all set to generate 75 megawatt alternating current (AC) and 101 megawatt direct current (DC) said Tushar Malik, construction head of the company.

 

7.   “Best Exhibitor Award” at ITB – Berlin won by India.

A.    The “Best Exhibitor Award” at ITB – Berlin on its last day won by India.
B.    From 7th March to 10th March, 2018, ‘ITB- Berlin World Tourist Meet’ was convened at Berlin, Germany.
C.    The Minister of State (Independent charge) represented India for Tourism Mr K. J. Alphons along with couple of Tourism Ministry officials.
D.    In the ITB- Berlin meet with their respective Tourism Ministers more than 100 countries participated.
E.    In the meet a short film named “Yogi of the Racetrack” presented by India’s Incredible India (Ministry of Tourism).
F.    The said short film has got 3.2 million hits in 60 hours.

 

8.   Godavari Gaurav’ award received by Amol Palekar.

A.    At an event in Nashik, Amol Palekar was honoured with the ‘Godavari Gaurav’ award.
B.    For his performance in films like “Gol Maal”, “Choti Si Baat”, “Chitchor” among others, the 73-year-old actor is known.
C.    He was presented with the award, which has been instituted by city-based ‘Kusumagraj Prathishthan’.
D.    The ‘Godavari Gaurav’ award is also received by the Classical singer Pandit Satyasheel Deshpande.

 

9.   To lift Deodhar Trophy India B Beat Karnataka.
A.    By comfortably beating Karnataka by six wickets in the summit clash, India B lifted the Deodhar Trophy.
B.   279 for 8 despite tottering at 64 for 4 at one stage scored by Karnataka.
C.    With as many as four batsmen hitting half-centuries India B romped home in 48.2 overs in reply.

 

10.  In andaman first-ever multi nation naval exercise at sea held.
A.    The MILES-18, was held at the Andaman sea.
B.    It was the first-ever multi-nation naval exercise at sea.
C.    As part of 10th edition of MILAN 2018 the three days exercise was conducted.
D.   ‘Friendship across the Seas’ was the theme of the event.
